Experience the Best at Fingerboard Country Inn

Welcome to our Family Farm!

We’re so glad you’re here and hope you enjoy your stay. To ensure everyone’s comfort and preserve the charm of this historic home, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines.

House Policies

  • Smoking is permitted outside on the patio; indoor smoking is not allowed.
  • Please leave the house as you found it and avoid moving indoor furniture. If you move outdoor chairs, kindly return them to their original positions.
  • Our cleaning service will handle linens, towels, and bathroom cleaning.
  • Please dispose of trash in the outdoor kitchen bin and remove any food not suitable for our farm animals. You may start the dishwasher; our housekeeper will take care of the rest.

House Guidelines

Your reservation includes exclusive access to the entire home, the patio, fire pit (with wood), and the yard surrounding the home. Please refrain from entering any other buildings unless accompanied by a farm employee.

Feel free to visit our farm animals, but please do not open any gates. Children must be supervised at all times. For the comfort and integrity of the home, please do not move or rearrange any indoor furniture.

We invite you to visit our market. If it's after hours, you can place an order online for porch pick-up in the morning!

  • You are welcome to use the washer and dryer during your stay.
  • Extra water jugs are available in the outdoor room next to the kitchen door.
  • For everyone’s enjoyment, smoking cigarettes or cigars inside the home is prohibited.
  • Pets are not allowed on the property.
  • Please refrain from moving outdoor furniture inside the home.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • The maximum occupancy is 14 guests. Any additional guests must be approved.
  • Parties and events require prior approval. Any unapproved gatherings or guests exceeding the limit will incur an event fee of $3,500.
  • Your reservation includes basic supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash, one roll of paper towels, three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags. Additional supplies will be your responsibility.

Checkout Protocol

  • Leave the Inn in the same condition you found it.
  • Sheets should remain on the beds.
  • Place used towels in the laundry room.
  • Remove all trash and place it in the outdoor trash and recycle bins located near the kitchen.
  • Clean and return all kitchen supplies. Be sure to run the dishwasher before checking out. Cleaning supplies and dishwasher detergent are under the kitchen sink.
  • Remove all personal food and drinks from the refrigerators. Any food that is safe for farm animals may be left behind.

Innkeeper Regulation

When you book and receive your receipt, you’re confirming your reservation dates and agreeing to the Innkeeper Regulation. This means your dates are guaranteed for you, and the length of stay you select at booking is the length you are responsible for.
